Dear Parents,
Welcome! We are happy to have you here to pray with us. Our community is filled with young families, like yours. Children are God’s gift to our Church. They are members of this Christian Community and a reminder that our parish is alive and well. We have resources available for parents to encourage their children to engage in the Sunday Mass available in the family rooms.
We have all been children and know that God put the wiggle in children. There are 2 family rooms if your wiggler needs extra engagement or a place to express feelings. One even overlooks the altar, the other has a monitor so you can still follow the Mass yourself!
Children learn liturgical behavior by imitation. During Mass, quietly explain to them what is happening. Sing hymns. Voice the responses. Point out what the priest is doing. There are many ways for children to participate in our liturgy, but you are the first step.
Our Mission
St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church is a community gathered in Jesus Christ. We welcome all people and provide them opportunities to know God, grow in faith, and use their gifts to serve others. Through Word, Sacrament, Prayer, and Service, we honor our tradition as we extend our ministry to each new generation.
Once a month, children of the parish will be invited to look closely at a designated space in the church to learn more about the art and meaning of that space. In this way, we can share the large themes of our Church with the smallest among us.
All ages are welcome!
Below is the anticipated tours of 2025.
